Of all the fish in the sea...

This non-traditional wedding card was made for a couple blending families together. The little fish represent their kids. Inside it says, "Of all the fish in the sea, you make a beautiful family. Congratulations!"

The blue background paper is covered with strips of torn vellum, and a piece of acetate embossed with swirls. The coral at the bottom is a 12" border sticker, cut to fit the card. The foil whale stickers and seaweed were from one sticker set, and the little fish puffy stickers were from another set. I printed and cut the top hat, added the mustache sticker for the groom, and created the tulle veil and silver bow for the bride. The clear bubble stickers are from Fiskars.

Paper Tea Cup

I love this project! I created a paper tea cup and saucer using a cut on my Cricut in Design Space from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. It went together quickly and then I embellished with tulle ribbon, lace, paper and crocheted flowers, pearls and rhinestones. I put dark chocolates in the cup wrapped in a glittery tissue paper to mimic coffee and foam. It is super cute! I can see me making more of these, maybe with Christmas paper??  hmmmm...

Miles of Smiles,

Strike! Baseball Birthday Card

A new guy card! I used my stash of Graphic 45 Sports paper to create this. I cut out the baseball player and pop dotted him for a 3D effect, and I crumpled the tickets for worn look. The red banner is a border punch. I used a glitter pen to highlight the word strike.

White Wedding

This is a wedding card I made. I love the pearlescent white papers used. The card itself matches the paper hearts, and the background is a different pattern. I layered the background to a black glitter cardstock. I cut out the hearts and embossed them then matted them with the black glitter paper. Finishing touches are pearls in the corners, pearl and rhinestone swirls, and a congratulations sticker. I think this is a really "traditional" wedding card, but still really pretty.

Tree Sympathy Card

Here are two sympathy cards made recently. I cut the tree on the Cricut then dotted pink and green acrylic paint over the branches. I also used my Posca paint pens and dots of Stickles glitter glue. I tried to take a pic of the glitter but it was difficult. I designed and print out the sentiment directly onto the white cardstock. The white cardstock is double matted with pink and green cardstock. It hasn't been easy making sympathy cards latley. So much sadness for others. So much crazy, sad, pointless acts of violence lately too. My heart is heavy for the world.

Vintage-esque Birthday Card

A happy card! Here is a card I made for a friend's birthday. There's a lot of Anna Griffin used, and some of it is OLD! I found the background paper while cleaning my office. I also found the rose image, but I had to cut it out by hand. The lovely swirly die cuts are cut and embossed using AG dies and the Cuttlebug. The butterfly and the fairy tag are from Kaisercraft. I had the green ribbon to make the little bow. The corner doilies are one round doily die (MFT) cut into quarters, then I added pearls to the corners and on the butterfly.

Sympathy Card

A sympathy card I made. It seems I've been making several such cards lately. Sadly. I sent this to a friend's mom. The card was cut on the Cricut from an Anna Griffin cartridge. I wish you could see the depth of layers this card has. It's just lovely. I added the green velvet ribbon, wooden bird, bird postage sticker, butterfly sticker and some tiny pearls. I wanted to keep it simple. It's about 5.5" square. Stay tuned, more sympathy cards to come. :(

Hello Gorgeous Birthday Box Card

This is the card I made for my sista's birthday. It's such a girly card, I love it! The box card base is from My Scrap Chick which I cut on my Cricut and decorated with adorable paper from Recollections. I hand colored the sassy lady (which reminds me of my friend) and found all sorts of girly things to pop out of the box. There's a dress form, stocking'd legs, lingerie, mascara, sunglasses, shopping bag, hat boxes. A large black frame at the back with "ooh la la" in it. And the back flap has a large "hello gorgeous" tag. That was key, as we address each other this way all the time.
