Sad Card

I made this card for our friend who had to put her dog down. I can't even imagine how horrible that must have been. I love all our animals, they are like our children,so it must be torture to be in a position to have to make that decision. It was for the best, but still so heartbreaking. I wrote a little poem inside, and I was bawlin' as I tried to write it. I just could not imagine the grief of losing a pet, especially one that you have had for so long. Like my cat Poey, he's now 15 years old, and I keep telling him he has to live forever. He's been with me for almost half my life! It will be a dark day when we have to let him go.

Memorial Day Fast Approaching

Here it is Tuesday before Memorial Day weekend. We'll be getting ready for our annual camping trip all week. I've got some swaps to get ready and send out, but here are a few I made recently.

Yes I am aware that it has been a while since I posted anything. I was busy with Mom's Day cards/projects and some other things. Unfortunately I didn't scan 2 of the projects, but they did turn out really cute. Here are my latest 2 which did get scanned.
