Happy Monday! This week's Bitten By the Bug Challenge was to use a flourish. I used this cool flourish from the Joys of the Seasons cartridge. I started with a light blue card base (6 x 6), and added the bumblebee background paper with brown inked edges. The bird, balloon, and sentiment are cut from the Birthday Bash cartridge. I inked all edges brown and used a brown marker for the dot highlights. I cut a larger flourish to add to the bottom of the card, and a smaller one layered into the flowers. I gave the birdie blue rhinestone eyes and a tuft of purple feather hair. I also used decorative tape on the four corners. After I made this card, I really liked how light and springy this card is, so I decided I must give it to my dear friend for her birthday. Please check out the other creations by our fabulous design team at BBTB2! Have a wonderful week!
