Retirement Card
This is a retirement card for my boss. Ex-boss? Former boss? Previous boss? It's weird to say that. I'm still not used to that yet. I really liked this template in Design Space, but I wanted to give it a beachy flair, since we can almost see the beach from our windows at work. It's a pop up card and I decorated the outside with beachy paper, embellishments and tiny pearls. The inside pops up the RV, but I used a beachy paper as the background and added a cute little 3D sailboat. The RV has gold glitter paper and teal. Some of the words are written with the Cricut and the center word is cut out and backed with teal paper.

Fall Birthday Card
I made this card for my brother's birthday in November. Again, I really like the patterned papers. I cut the tree on the Cricut and added a few 3D leaf stickers and mushroom. The sentiment I created in Design Space and print then cut! You can see I added some glitter to a few of the branches, because, well, everything is better with glitter! LOL

Thanksgiving Box Cards
Happy Thanksgiving! Aren't these box cards adorable? I got the box card pattern from My Scrap Chick, then cut out the turkey and the words on the Cricut. I added a fun Photo Play fall sticker to the front of each card. I really loved the patterned papers and the feather on the turkey just cracks me up!

Downton Abbey Birthday Card
This card was made using a Downton Abbey card blank. I sent it to someone who was a fan of the show when it was on. Oh I miss that show! I tried to keep with the vintage theme with my colors and embellishments. I used a gray and gold glitter Anna Griffin die cut, then layered fabric flowers, chipboard frame, felt bird, and Anna Griffin tag with my sentiment. The lock, key, bee are from a pack of Jolee's confetti. I also added a lovely lace Anna Griffin die cut border. I really enjoy the layers on this card and the muted colors.

Halloween Cards with Anna Griffin die cuts
These are the Halloween cards I made for my co-workers. Remember I started on them during the hurricane? It was a simple design, just a spider web embossed into the card, then topped with Anna Griffin die cuts, and a clear Happy Halloween sticker attached to green printed cardstock. They have rhinestone eyes, except for the ghosts. I really like the green bats!

Halloween Projects
Here's a couple Halloweenie paper projects I made. All cut on the Cricut. The top is a set of 3 mini luminaries that fit an electric tea light. These were fun to make! And they were made at my gorgeous girl's house while visiting her in Atlanta. Such a fun weekend!
The bottom are little treat boxes for my co-workers filled with chocolate goodies. Each one has a little acrylic embellishment and is sealed with a washi tape flag on the handle.

Birthday Card for the Hub
This is the birthday card I made for my husband. He loves Snoopy as the Flying Ace, so I found an svg to cut, put it together, and made it a Steampunk theme. He also loves the Steampunk look too. So I managed to incorporate two of his favorite things on one card. Points for me! lol I used an architectural paper from Graphic 45 for the background and embossed it with a gears pattern, then highlighted he embossing with silver ink. I die cut two corners in matte gold cardstock and added screw brads. The larger background gears are die cut from a Tim Holtz die using bronze metallic cardstock. I used fancy brads on the helmet and goggles, added a bronze key, and metal gears wrapped in wire. I also used the wire on the goggles and the scarf. My husband loved the card. His surprise birthday present was a ride in a glider plane, so I think the Flying Ace card fit right into the festivities! The other photos are him getting ready for take off, in flight, and the glider plane with our BMW convertible.
Catching up: Thinking of You card
Another card for the friend that lost her husband. We took up a collection for her at work. We work with some amazing people. They were so generous, bless their hearts.
I cut a shaped card from green cardstock, and covered it with Anna Griffin flower print paper. I die cut the corner shape from gold glitter cardstock, and the bird from a linen print Anna Griffin paper. The banner was printed with the Cricut, as was the card itself.
I haven't posted in a while, so I am catching up with the projects I've made over the past few months.
