Inspire

I created this card to welcome the new President of the College. I had everyone in our division sign it. I started with a teal polka dot background, then a layer of flower patterned paper. I like this paper because it had texture, like linen. I inked all the edges in brown, added a coordinating strip of flower paper to the bottom of the card, and a sheer ribbon over it. I cut out "inspire" in brown cardstock on the Cricut. The silver butterfly is a peel-off sticker affixed to pink patterned paper, then trimmed. I adhered the body of the butterfly and rolled the wings up for dimension. Teenie-beenie pearls were the final touch on the flowers, butterfly, and to dot the "i's" in the word.
